this is your fault, meredith

iTunes...

Step 1: Open up whatever MP3 program you use and add every song in your collection.
Step 2: Put it on random.
Step 3: Pick your favorite lines from the first 20 songs that play.
Step 4: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from .
Step 5: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correcttly.
Step 6: DON'T GOOGLE THEM!

uhm.. how hard did you google some of those? b/c i know you don't listen to bowie often. or the bosstones.

Um...ouch!

I actually own every Bowie CD (my Dad is a big fan). It is on the Reality DVD, which I happen to have as well.

As for the Bosstones, one of my friends is big into ska. And as much as I'd like to say, "Whatever that means," I won't; it doesn't change the fact that I may not be a fan. Regardless, if I am not mistaken, that song came out in the early 90s (2, 3 maybe?) and was relatively popular.

But don't worry; I'm not offended!

I mean this with all humor: but it has been a long time since I worried whether or not your were offended. However, I am sorry, if that was sarcasm. And I do remember you having a Bowie DVD. Apologies.

Furthermore, I loathe everything about Bono, but I can tell you that song is on The Unforgettable Fire album and I never listen to Lifehouse. One particular roommate has just made questionable audible decisions. I am tired of bands like Lifehouse and Fastball when I am trying to not feel like a late 90's US-pop fan.

haha, that's the issue, there's nothing wrong with enjoying 90s US pop. It's for kicks.

As for Weezer sucking. I don't agree. And because I've NEVER loved arguing something so arbitrary and relative as musical taste with you, I'm not going to go into it.

I have decided that Fergie and her "Dutchess" album is worse than Gwen Stefani's post-No Doubt charades. I mean, at least Stefani can spell 'bananas.'

Oh! Oh! And Weezer! My Lord, I almost forgot. I haven't listened to them since 3rd grade back when them, the Presidents, and Green Day were the best bands (Green Day even said the "F-word!").

We've had the "Why Weezer Sucks" talk, haven't we? Now I am just ranting. It's 7:20. I got off work 3 hours ago. I have class in 40 minutes. I'll talk happy thoughts later.

Next on the docket: Fergie vs. Gwen Stefani--who do you think has what it takes to be my least favorite female vocalist of the 2000's?!
